Commemorative Retail Range Launched
An official commemorative retail range of thirteen products has gone on sale today (Tuesday 3 May) online and on the Sandringham Estate to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Celebrations will take place throughout the year on the Sandringham Estate, the Country Retreat of Her Majesty The Queen in Norfolk, to mark the historic occasion of The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
The new official retail range includes a 10-page commemorative Platinum Jubilee guide, Her Majesty The Queen at Sandringham: An Exemplary Reign and a Unique Country House.
The fold out publication features key moments illustrating time spent at Sandringham by Her Majesty The Queen and members of the Royal Family over the last 70 years. Displaying a brief timeline history of The Queen’s reign accompanied by resonant quotes and memorable photographs of Her Majesty on occasions such as Christmas Day visits to St Mary Magdalene Church and the historic first televised Christmas Broadcast in 1957, which took place in the Long Library at Sandringham House.
Further products in the range includes a celebration pale ale (£3.99) using Estate spring barley from the wider Estate, a five-fruit preserve (£6.99) made from blackberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, raspberries and strawberries and a celebration Pink Gin (£50) with a unique taste of White Fig and Black Mulberry.
The Black Mulberry tree which inspired the flavours, was a gift from the Worshipful Company of Fruiterers in celebration of The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh’s Golden Wedding Anniversary, planted at Sandringham in 1988 by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.
