A memorial tree planting took place today on the Sandringham Estate, dedicated to those who have been supported by local charity The Norfolk Hospice.
The tree also represents Sandringham’s contribution to The Queen’s Green Canopy, a nationwide tree planting initiative created to mark special tree plantings across the UK, to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.
In this, the year of celebrations for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, The Norfolk Hospice will further collaborate with the Estate and a local Blacksmith to create a “Butterfly Meadow” in the Gardens at Sandringham.
