At Sandringham we are committed to providing an accessible experience for all, and try to ensure everyone can enjoy their visit while with us. Accompanying Carers receive free entry.

There are quite long distances to cover between our car park and Sandringham House, and around the Gardens and Royal Park. As the property and surroundings are historic there may be uneven surfaces.

Accessibility At A Glance

  • Accessible designated parking spaces for Blue Badge holders and ‘limited mobility’ in our car parks

  • Drop off and pick up points also available

  • A free shuttle buggy is available to and from the House from inside the Gardens entrance

  • Accessible toilets and changing facilities are available at the Courtyard

  • Sandringham House, and all facilities in the Courtyard; Sandringham Terrace Café, Restaurant and Shop are fully accessible

  • Wheelchairs may be hired free of charge on a first come first served basis with a refundable deposit, please enquire at the ticket office.

  • All assistance dogs are welcome in Sandringham House and Gardens.

  • There are uneven surfaces in the Gardens due to the landscape and historic nature of the property, some surfaces may be slippery when wet. There is open water in the Gardens and therefore all children should be closely supervised at all times.A full risk assessment is in place.
