Set in the woodland of the Country Park, the Visitor Centre was developed to provide excellent facilities for visitors all year round, with timber buildings designed to blend into the landscape, but air-conditioned and offering every comfort inside.  There is free car and coach parking, and this is where you will find the Restaurant, Gift Shop and Plant Centre.  This is also the starting point for the very popular tractor and trailer tours; from April to October and for a small charge, these tours take passengers around parts of the Estate not normally open, with a commentary by the driver.

 

The Visitor Centre is open every day except Good Friday, the Restaurant and Gift Shop from 9.30am to 5.30pm and the Plant Centre from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
